About King Contractors LLC

Anoka grew up where the Rum River slips into the Mississippi, and on the coldest mornings vapor curls off the open water while the town's streets lie buried and waiting. King Contractors LLC, a contracting business, takes on snow removal here, plowing back the overnight fall so driveways and front walks open up again. There is a plain gladness in hearing a blade scrape down to pavement while the river valley still holds its blue dark. A cleared drive is a small kindness: a car backing out without a spin, a doorstep safe for the first boots of the day. When the sun lifts over the bare treetops by the Rum, the white lies banked neatly where it belongs.
