About Sorensen Excavating LLC

Out on the open land around Alden, the snow that causes trouble often isn't the snow that falls — it's the snow that blows, lifted off Freeborn County fields by a hard west wind and dropped wherever it pleases. Sorensen Excavating LLC knows how to move material, and in winter the material is snow. As an excavating company, they bring the patience of a dirt job to a drift job: find the edges, cut it down, push it somewhere it can stay. A driveway that disappeared by noon comes back by evening, straight and wide. In a farm town where the wind hardly ever rests, that kind of work matters.
