About The Grass Is Greener LLC

Northwest of Duluth the country loosens into hayfield and tamarack, and the roads run arrow-straight until a spruce swamp changes their mind. That is Alborn, where June daylight holds well past nine o'clock and a yard can gain two inches between visits. The Grass Is Greener LLC mows, trims and cleans up lawns out here, reading the dry high ground and the soft low corners as two different jobs. There is real satisfaction in the last pass of an evening: stripes laid true, clippings gone, cut-grass smell drifting off toward the ditch lilies. Come October the leaf work gets a place buttoned up before the long white quiet settles over this corner of St. Louis County.
