About Sunshine Lawn & Landscape, LLC

Winter comes early to Hubbard County and stays late, and Highway 34 through Akeley can go from wet to white between one errand and the next. Sunshine Lawn & Landscape, LLC plows and shovels through that long stretch of the year — drives opened, walks cleared, ice handled so the mail makes it to the door. Come April the blade gives way to the mower: what the melt uncovers gets cleaned off, and the grass is cut from its first flush right through fall. Paul Bunyan keeps his post at the edge of town for both halves of it. Whatever the month, a place that looks tended is a place that feels lived in.
