Stevo's Dock & Lift

About Stevo's Dock & Lift

The day after Thanksgiving, Aitkin's Fish House Parade rolls down the main street — ice shacks on trailers, decorated with all the humor a long winter can inspire, a cheerful signal that hard water is on the way. For Stevo's Dock & Lift, a dock and lift business, that shift in the lake year is familiar territory, and once the snow starts piling up they go out to plow. They open Aitkin driveways and push the drifts aside so that anyone towing a fish house can actually get it to the ice. It's winter work built on the same instinct as a good dock: give people solid footing exactly where they need it. Between the parade and ice-out, that footing makes all the difference.
