About Snow Removal Group

Cold pools in the St. Croix valley on a clear January night, and fog lifts off the open water to glaze everything above it. Afton's hills are charming in September and a genuine problem in February — every drive on the bluff grade wants sand and a blade before anyone tries it in the dark. Snow Removal Group clears snow in and around Afton: plowing, driveway and lot work, shoveled walks and steps, ice treated where the slope insists on it. Getting the steep approaches cut before the morning traffic tests them is the whole job. By sunrise the old village street along the river is open again, and the valley goes back to being pretty.
