Evergreen Landscapes of Afton

About Evergreen Landscapes of Afton

Afton is built on the slope down to the St. Croix, and almost nothing here is level. Yards run in terraces and ravines, Valley Creek keeps its cold shade under the oaks, and mowing the river side of town is as much a question of footing as of grass. Evergreen Landscapes of Afton works that ground — mowing, trimming, edging, and spring and fall cleanups on lots that fall away toward the water. Done right, the cut follows the land instead of arguing with it, and the whole yard reads as one piece from the road. In July, with the valley brimming green, that is a fine thing to drive past.
