About TK'S Gardening and Tree Service

Ypsilanti keeps its big trees close: maples arching over the brick streets, sycamores down along the Huron by Riverside Park, and the water tower up on the hill watching all of it. TK'S Gardening and Tree Service works these old in-town lots, where a removal is a matter of inches — tree removal between a porch and a neighbor's fence, tree trimming to keep a crown off the slate, pruning that gets deadwood out of a canopy a century in the making. Depot Town catches hard rain funneled up the river valley more often than people expect, and storm damage cleanup there is a tarp-and-wheelbarrow job as much as a saw job, carried on until the sidewalk is walkable. There is real pleasure in leaving a street looking untouched — no chips in the gutter, no ruts in the terrace, just a tree lighter and safer than it was.
