Snow Scholars | Ypsilanti Snow Removal

About Snow Scholars | Ypsilanti Snow Removal

Three in the morning in January, the flat run between Ypsilanti and Ann Arbor is empty, streetlights doing their orange work over fresh snow. That is when Snow Scholars is out — plowing drives, shoveling walks and steps, salting the slick patches so the first steps of the day are steady ones. Township snow can arrive as a quiet all-nighter or a two-hour squall that fills everything back in, and both get answered. There is something satisfying about a cleared driveway at first light, edges square, nobody awake yet to see it. Ypsilanti Charter Township wakes up to it and simply goes.
