Traffic hums all night along the I-94 corridor, and when snow starts blowing sideways across those lanes this crew is already awake. Plows drop, driveways open, walks get shoveled down to the concrete, and salt goes where meltwater would otherwise refreeze before morning. Come April the trucks trade blades for mowers, and the same properties get cut, edged and tidied week after week through the long green middle of the year. Ypsilanti Charter Township asks for both halves of that work, and the phone number in the name says plainly where the crew is from. Two seasons, one route, no gap in between.
