Genesis Lawn Care

About Genesis Lawn Care

Late March in Wyoming is all beginnings: frost coming out of the ground, the first thin green showing through matted brown near Ferrand Park, the smell of wet soil on a warm afternoon. Genesis Lawn Care starts there — the spring cleanup, the first cut, the edges reestablished after a winter of being ignored. From that opening the season settles into weekly mowing, trimming and edging with the walks cleared each visit. Kent County gives about seven good growing months, and how a lawn is handled in the first of them shapes the other six. There is a particular pleasure in that first pass of the year, when a yard suddenly looks like summer is a real plan.
