Distinct Lawns

About Distinct Lawns

A lawn is mostly judged at its borders — the line where grass meets the drive, the curve around the mailbox post, the strip along the sidewalk everybody walks past. Distinct Lawns takes those inches seriously on the Wyoming blocks off Clyde Park Avenue, edging and trimming as carefully as it mows. Turf here grows thick and forgiving in the heart of summer, which makes it all the easier to let the details slide; the whole idea is not to. Clippings come off the concrete, the lines stay true, and the yard reads sharp from the street. Week after warm week, that is the difference between a lawn that has been cut and a lawn that has been kept.
