Biddle Avenue wakes up in April — awnings out, planters filled, the whole street deciding all at once that it is spring. LEVEL UP LAWNCARE, LLC starts its Wyandotte year around then, with the cleanup that strips a winter of grit and salt off the turf and the first mow that puts a shape back on things. Through the warm months it is mowing, trimming and crisp edging along the concrete, which in a city of straight lines is the difference between kept and not. Come December the work flips to plowing, shoveling and ice control so nobody has to guess at the walk out front. Two halves of one year, both of them about a surface being clear.
