Greenblade One

About Greenblade One

First light in the Irish Hills comes over glacial ridges, and the mist lifts off Round Lake before it lifts off anything else. Greenblade One is out in that hour with a sharp blade and a route to run, mowing Woodstock Township lawns while the day is still cool. The ground here rolls, so the job is half cutting and half reading the slope — where to turn, where to go across instead of straight up. Trimming and edging finish what the mower cannot reach, and cleanups at either end of the season keep the rest honest. A hillside lawn cut clean holds the light all the way down the pitch.
