JCS Dirtwork and Snowplow

About JCS Dirtwork and Snowplow

Odessa Township is open country, and open country lets the wind write its own map across the road. Snow drifts along the section lines here in long fingers, filling a farm lane back in an hour after it was opened. JCS Dirtwork and Snowplow works those winter nights out between Jordan Lake and the village of Lake Odessa, pushing the banks back so a driveway stays a driveway. There is a real satisfaction in a lane cleared all the way to the mailbox before the school bus comes through, with salt down where the slope turns slick. Plowing, clearing, shoveling, de-icing — and the reward is a place that can get out its own door.
