About Kensington Contracting LLC

West of Wixom the land opens toward Kensington Metropark and the Huron River, and the winter light out there goes flat and silver for weeks at a stretch. Kensington Contracting LLC plows into that light — driveways, walkways, commercial lots, salt where the ice sets up under the shade. Storms here come across the plains rather than off a lake, dry and quick, and they leave a fine powder that the wind keeps rearranging all day. The answer is to come back, and to cut the edges clean so the next inch has somewhere to go. There is a plain pride in a lot that stands open before anybody needs it.
