About Burton Tree Service and Landscaping, LLC

In January the oaks along Charms Road go all architecture, black limbs against a low white sky. Burton Tree Service and Landscaping, LLC runs its snow work under those branches — plowing drives, clearing walkways, putting salt on the shaded stretches that never quite let go. Wind out of the northwest will scour one side of a driveway bare and pack the other into a ridge, so a route through Wixom is never the same twice. The crew reads the drift lines and cuts where a shovel would have lost the argument. By mid-morning the pavement is dark and wet and the day can start.
