About Bell's Landscape Service Inc.

Loon Lake sits at the north edge of Wixom, and the fog on it in early summer burns off about the time the mowers start. Bell's Landscape Service Inc. keeps the lawns along those streets cut, trimmed and edged from the first flush of May growth through the last leaf-strewn cleanup of October. Then the work turns: plow routes through the same neighborhoods, walkways opened, salt laid on the walk before the evening refreeze. The pleasure is in the line — a mowed stripe that runs true, a driveway scraped down to concrete with a clean shoulder of snow beside it. Same streets, two different kinds of quiet.
