Earth Kraft

About Earth Kraft

April in Winfield Township is mud and promise: frost coming out of the ground, the small lakes shrugging off their ice, and every lawn wearing a winter's worth of sticks and matted grass. Earth Kraft starts right there, raking out the old growth, clearing the beds, and laying down a first cut that wakes the whole yard up. From then on it settles into a steady summer rhythm, with even mowing, edges opened along the walks and the drive, and close trimming where the mower cannot reach. There is something plainly satisfying about the moment a shaggy spring lawn turns green and geometric in a single afternoon. Homes around Howard City and out along the back roads of Montcalm County get that same fresh start each year.
