Barkham & Co

About Barkham & Co

Behind town the Red Cedar widens into the millpond, flat as glass on a still evening, and the lawns facing it are held to something like that same calm. Barkham & Co keeps them mowed, trimmed and edged, and takes care of the cleanups that stop one season from carrying its mess into the next. The growing months in Williamston are generous and brief, so the schedule stays tight from the first April cut to the last leaf in November. Straight lines, sharp edges, nothing left on the sidewalk — that is the whole ambition, repeated weekly. Service runs through Williamston and out into the surrounding Ingham County towns.
