About Oak Equipment Service LLC

The first real snow in White Cloud tends to come in late November, dusting the jack pines and oaks of the surrounding forest and vanishing into the dark water of the White River as it slides through town. This is the Newaygo County seat and a small town at heart, and Oak Equipment Service LLC is an equipment service business that handles snow removal here. Winter in this part of Michigan is long and patient, delivering its snow in small installments that add up to real weight by January. Steady clearing keeps a driveway from freezing into a rutted washboard and turns the trip to the mailbox into a stroll instead of a slog. Look back from the road afterward and the yard is a clean white page with a single neat line drawn through it.
