Up North Cut Co

About Up North Cut Co

On a Friday in July the traffic on I-75 runs north past West Branch Township in one long bright ribbon, everybody chasing a lake. Up North Cut Co stays put and does the work that keeps the place worth arriving in — mowing, trimming and edging the yards, camps and homes tucked into the Ogemaw hills. Summer up here is compressed and generous, six or seven weeks of hard growth that has to be met week by week. There is a real pleasure in the moment the mower stops and the yard sits there striped and even beneath the jack pines. Lawn care throughout West Branch Township and the country around it.
