About Dan's Enterprises LLC

A clipper comes down out of Canada overnight and by four in the morning Michigan Avenue is two white ruts and a lot of quiet. That's the hour Dan's Enterprises LLC is already out, plowing driveways along the side streets so people can back out onto US-12 without a shovel in their hands. Walks get cleared to the porch, not just to the step, and salt goes down where the melt will refreeze before sunrise. Wayne winters don't announce themselves politely — freezing drizzle one week, six inches the next — so the route runs on whatever the sky actually did. By the time the first headlights turn onto the street, the pavement is black and open.
