Waterford wears its water right on the map — dozens of lakes stitched in between the roads, so that half the township lives within sight of a shoreline. In March, when the ice turns gray and rotten and the last plowable storm has come and gone, Tyler's Landscaping & Snow Removal LLC swaps the blade for the mower deck. Winter's work here is drives pushed to the pavement and walks cleared before daylight; summer's is mowing, trimming and edging on a set weekly turn, with cleanups at either end. Between the two it's the same yards, the same corners, the same shorelines going by the window. The aim doesn't change with the temperature: leave the place tidy and easy to walk across.
