About Acorn Lawn Cutting LLC

By October the oaks and maples on Warren's older blocks start letting go, and a lawn can disappear under leaf litter in a single windy afternoon. Acorn Lawn Cutting LLC mows, edges and clears that litter through the tail of the season, dropping the deck a notch on the last cuts so the turf heads into winter short and clean. Late light near Halmich Park turns everything copper, and the sound of the work is mostly the mower chewing leaves down to nothing. It is a good feeling to leave a yard that reads green again by suppertime — beds cleared, walks blown, the curb line sharp. Come April those same lawns wake up ahead of their neighbors, which is the whole argument for doing it properly in fall.
