Barrette Lawn Co

About Barrette Lawn Co

On a June morning in Wales Township the section roads run straight between hayfields, wild carrot leaning out of the ditches, and the dew burns off about the time the first mower drops. Barrette Lawn Co follows those roads through the week — mowing, edging, string trimming and seasonal cleanup on farmhouse yards, country lots and everything tucked between them. Out here a lawn meets a field, so the line where cut meets uncut has to be honest and sharp. Grass comes on quickly in this heavy St. Clair County ground, which makes a steady rotation more useful than one heroic visit. There is a plain pleasure in pulling away from a yard that looks like somebody meant it.
