Independence Tree Care

About Independence Tree Care

The Village of Clarkston is built into oak hills at the head of the Clinton River, with Depot Park at the bottom of the slope and the mill pond holding the town's reflection on a still morning. Independence Tree Care works lots where the houses came second and the oaks came first — pruning that respects an old crown, tree trimming to take weight off a garage roof, tree removal when a hollow one has started dropping wood on the driveway. Around Deer Lake and the roads through Independence Township, an August thunderstorm can flatten a yard in twenty minutes, and storm damage cleanup puts the place back to looking like itself. The measure of a day is a clean scar on the trunk, a stacked row of rounds by the shed, and grass that shows no sign anyone was there.
