Vermontville carried its name west out of New England in 1836, and it kept the maples too — every March the sugarbush around the village runs sap and the town makes a festival of it. Season's Lawn & Landscape picks up where that leaves off: as soon as the frost lets go it is cleanups, then first cuts, then a summer of mowing, trimming and edging on Eaton County lawns. Village lots here sit under big old trees, which means shade patches, root flares and a lot of careful trimming to get right. Done well the yard looks composed — even color, clean borders, nothing shaggy at the fence. Serving Vermontville, Nashville, Sunfield, Mulliken and Charlotte.
