About Goodman Lawn Co. LLC

Belleville Lake wakes slowly in Van Buren Township — a seam of mist over the water down toward French Landing, herons standing in it like they were left there overnight. Goodman Lawn Co. LLC works the yards that step down toward that shoreline and the level neighborhoods behind them, mowing, trimming and edging until a lawn reads clean from the curb. When the lake turns the color of pewter and the first real storm comes up the I-94 corridor, the same trucks go back out with plows and salt, opening driveways and walks ahead of the morning shift. There is a particular pride in a drive cleared to the pavement while the porch light is still the brightest thing on the street. Snow and grass are the same job here: get there early, leave a straight edge, let the house look looked-after.
