About Elson Services LLC

Midsummer in Tyrone Township smells like cut hay and warm oak, and the Shiawassee threads the low ground with hardly a sound. Elson Services LLC mows the lawns above it — the big open ones that run out to a fence line, the shaded ones under ridge oaks that want a lighter pass and a sharper blade. Trimming at posts and outbuildings, a cut edge where grass gives way to gravel, clippings kept off the drive and out of the beds. When the leaves come they come thoroughly, and clearing them off is its own kind of satisfaction. A lawn cut straight against a hayfield edge looks right in a way that's hard to argue with.
