Prime Time Lawn Care and Landscape

About Prime Time Lawn Care and Landscape

In Troy the July light hangs on past nine o'clock, sliding long and gold across the yards off Wattles Road, and that is the hour when a mowing line shows itself best. Prime Time Lawn Care and Landscape works this flat old farm plain the way it asks to be worked — mowing, trimming, edging, and the cleanups that carry a yard from thaw to freeze. Come winter the same trucks turn to plowing, shoveling and salting, so a driveway is open and gritted before the first commuter headlights swing down Long Lake Road. There is a plain pleasure in a straight stripe laid across a wide back lawn, and in a walk cleared square to its concrete corners. Whether the grass is climbing an inch a week or the air has gone still and metallic the way it does over Oakland County before snow, the work is the same promise, kept on time.
