Penguin Snow Removal

About Penguin Snow Removal

Three in the morning on Adams Road, snow coming sideways through the streetlights, and hardly anyone awake to see it. Penguin Snow Removal works that shift — plowing driveways and lots, clearing walks and steps, treating the surface so the afternoon melt doesn't set up hard by dawn. Troy takes its winter in installments, a few inches at a time across four long months, and each one has to be answered before the commute begins. There is a genuine pleasure in the last look back at a finished drive: black pavement, banked edges, nothing left to do. Then the truck rolls on to the next one, and the town wakes up to clear ground.
