Michigan Mow Masters

About Michigan Mow Masters

Michigan gives up about six good growing months, and Troy makes use of every one of them. Michigan Mow Masters spends that stretch mowing, trimming, edging and cleaning up lawns across the city, laying stripes that run the length of a yard and change color when you walk back the other way. Around the Fourth the grass is at its thickest and the evenings hold light past nine, which is a fine time to be finishing out a street. There is real craft in something this ordinary — deck height matched to the heat, blades kept sharp so the tips don't brown, corners taken the same way every visit. A yard done well disappears into the neighborhood, which is precisely what it should do.
