About Detroit lawn care

Dequindre Road is the old county line, and Troy stretches west from it in long blocks of lawn and silver maple. Detroit lawn care mows, trims and edges along those streets, keeping turf tidy from the first spring flush to the last cut before the leaves come down. Late August evenings out here are gold and slow; the mowers go quiet around seven and the smell of cut grass hangs over the driveways for an hour after. Every yard has its own shape — a corner lot that catches all the sun, a shaded strip under an oak that wants a lighter touch. Getting both right on the same street is most of the job.
