About Belbot Services

Big Beaver Road runs east and west through Troy with glass office towers standing over it, and in February those windows throw a low, flat winter light back down onto a lot of salted asphalt. Belbot Services works that season and the one that follows it — snow plowed and walkways cleared while the sky is still dark, then mowing and lawn upkeep once the ground softens in April. Michigan asks a property to be two different places inside one year, and the changeover arrives faster than the calendar suggests. The measure of a good clearing is a lot where the first car of the morning never has to slow down. The measure of a good cut is a lawn nobody comments on, because nothing about it is out of place.
