Turtle's Maintenance Inc

About Turtle's Maintenance Inc

Some storms come in politely and some come sideways off the water until the shore road toward Elk Rapids disappears into a gray wall. Turtle's Maintenance Inc works either one at the same unhurried pace — blade down, the drive opened end to end, banks kept back from the sightlines out at the road, walks and steps shoveled, salt across the packed spots that turn to glass overnight. There is no rushing a whiteout; there is only getting through it in order, property after property, until the list is finished and the sky lifts. This county can take a foot in one night and then throw another squall on top of it before noon, which is why the second pass counts as much as the first. Winter clearing for driveways, lots and walkways, start of season to end.
