About Old Mission Associates

Center Road runs the spine of Old Mission Peninsula with water showing on both sides, and in January the cherry rows go the same color as the sky. Wind off East Bay finds every driveway that faces it, and the drifts rebuild themselves twice in a night. Old Mission Associates works that geography the way it deserves — plowing the long peninsula drives, pushing banks back before they narrow a turnaround, shoveling steps and porches, spreading salt on the grades that hold ice longest. Past the forty-fifth parallel marker the road keeps climbing and dropping all the way to the lighthouse, and every place strung along it wants to be reachable by breakfast. That is the whole ambition: bare pavement, an open gate, a morning that starts on time.
