About Higher Ground Maintenance & Services

South of the bay the land begins to climb, and by the time you are running the back roads toward Kingsley you can feel the township rise under the truck. Higher Ground Maintenance & Services works those slopes on August afternoons, when the heat sits heavy and a hillside lawn wants a taller cut to keep its roots cool. Mowing a grade is its own skill — reading the fall of the ground, keeping the lines honest across a slope, catching the trim where the turf runs out into the woods' edge. Done right, the yard reads clean from the bottom of the drive all the way up. That view, earned one week at a time, is the whole reason for the work.
