About Backwoods Landscape

South of town the roads narrow and the sand takes over — jack pine, oak, two-tracks that end at somebody's porch. Backwoods Landscape works that country, mowing and keeping lawns through the green months and pushing snow off the same long driveways once October's leaves have gone to rust. Out here a yard is a clearing, and the line where kept grass meets the woods is a line worth getting right. Winter turns those two-tracks into a serious proposition, and there is a quiet pleasure in being the reason a family can reach the county road. Unshowy work, in beautiful country.
