About Roberts Bros Excavating Inc.

Lake Michigan sits far enough west that Three Rivers catches the tail of the lake-effect bands — snow that arrives sideways at midnight and simply keeps arriving. Roberts Bros Excavating Inc. runs the snow work through those nights: plowing driveways and lots, opening the long gravel lanes out in the townships, shoveling walks, and putting salt down where ice wants to set. There is a particular quiet at three in the morning with the beacon turning and a drive cut clean end to end, banks pushed back far enough to take the next storm too. Whoever wakes at six sees only black pavement and never knows what it took. Snow removal for Three Rivers, Centreville, Constantine and the Fabius and Lockport township roads.
