About Selim's Landscaping

Late April in Taylor comes with jets sliding low over Wick Road on their way down toward the airport, and beneath them the ground finally softens enough to work. Selim's Landscaping opens the year there — beds turned and mulched, shrubs shaped, borders redrawn, and the first mowings that pull a lawn out of its winter matting. The flat Downriver soil holds water long into spring, so the trick is reading which yards are ready and which need another warm week. By December the same crew is back on those drives with a plow blade and a spreader, clearing and salting before morning. A property that gets tended in both directions never looks like it is catching up.
