Peterson services

About Peterson services

The north branch of the Ecorse Creek slips along behind fence lines and back lots, and in a wet July it reminds every yard in Taylor how little slope this land actually has. Peterson services works around that — mowing in the window between storms, trimming and edging where the ground is soft, keeping a lawn from being torn up while it is still holding water. Grass here can go tall in three humid days, so the schedule matters as much as the machine. Then the year turns, and the same lots get plowed, shoveled and salted through the gray middle of a Downriver winter. It is a two-season rhythm, and both halves come down to the same thing: showing up on the day the property needs it.
