About LCP Management Inc

By late November the sky over Genesee County goes low and pewter, and everybody in Swartz Creek starts checking the radar out of habit. LCP Management Inc reads that sky for a living. Their whole season is plowing, shoveling and ice control — the lots and drives out toward the I-69 interchange opened before the first car turns in, the walks treated before the afternoon melt refreezes at dusk. There is a particular pride in arriving at three in the morning so that nobody ever has to know you were there. Snow in this part of Michigan comes gray and wet, then hard and dry, and both kinds get moved. The measure of the work is simple: black pavement, and a town that goes on with its morning.
