Arrow Tree Service

About Arrow Tree Service

Down on the Monroe County lake plain the ground runs flat to the horizon, and every farmhouse keeps its windbreak like a coat collar turned up against whatever comes off Lake Erie. Arrow Tree Service works those rows and the shaded lots around Petersburg — pruning that lifts a crown off a roofline, tree trimming that gets light back onto a garden, tree removal when a silver maple has split down the crotch and cannot be saved. In October the wind swings around hard and the ash and cottonwood shed anything loose; storm damage cleanup is limbs hauled, ruts kept out of the turf, the yard swept down to green. The result worth the day is simple — a tree shaped so it can take the next blow, and nothing left behind but the smell of fresh-cut wood. Summerfield Township, Petersburg, Deerfield, Dundee and Ida.
