About King Chop LLC

Late August in Berrien County smells like fruit — peaches off the orchards along Red Arrow, grapes coming on in the rows — and the lawns between them are at their thickest. King Chop LLC cuts through it: mowing, string trimming, edging drives and walks, and getting the leaves off once the oaks let go in fall. Then the year flips and the same trucks push snow, opening driveways and parking areas after a lake-effect night leaves a foot on the ground by breakfast. Between the two there is no offseason in Stevensville, only a change of tools. The standard stays simple — you should be able to pull in without slowing down, and you should like how the yard looks in July.
