When the thaw finally arrives, the same routes go green and the work turns to mowing, trimming and clearing the winter's wreckage off the grass. Both jobs come down to access and appearance — a drive you can get down, a yard that looks tended. Roscommon County asks for both, and the year splits neatly in half.
