About Thompson Property Services

October comes down the side streets of St. Clair Shores all at once — maple leaves in the gutters, across the lawns, drifted up against the garage doors in the back drives. Thompson Property Services works that turn: leaf cleanups and final cuts while the light lasts, then the switch to plows, shovels and salt once the wind off Lake St. Clair starts carrying something colder. It is property care taken as one long year instead of two separate ones, mowing and trimming through the warm stretch, clearing drives and walks through the dark stretch. The pleasure in it is handing a place back tidy every single time — bagged leaves at the curb in fall, bare concrete at six in the morning come January. Around here, that is what people mean when they say a house looks kept.
