About Arborvitaes Landscaping

East of Petoskey the hardwood ridges of Springvale Township rise and fall, and every lawn up here is a clearing somebody argued out of the trees. Arborvitaes Landscaping keeps those yards open — mowing and trimming, edging, hedges and shrubs shaped, beds mulched, cleanups in spring and again in fall. Emmet County ground runs stony and steep in places, so the mowing follows the land instead of fighting it. Half the job is the wood's edge, where the ferns and saplings keep trying to come back in. In June the maples close overhead and cut grass is the smell of the whole township.
