About the lawn wiizards

April in Springfield Charter Township is mud and meltwater: the low spots hold, the gravel roads soften, and the grass starts moving well before the ground is ready to be walked on. Wait a week too long and the first cut turns into a wrestling match; time it right and the yard simply wakes up. That is where the lawn wiizards begin the year — a cleanup that pulls matted leaves and winter debris off the turf and out of the beds, then a regular rotation of cutting, trimming and edging. Drives and walks are cleared of grass at every visit, not just the first one. From that opening pass in spring to the last one before the cold sets in, the yard stays in hand.
