Bert's Grass Cutting

About Bert's Grass Cutting

By the middle of June the roadsides around Spring Arbor township have gone to chicory and fleabane, and the hayfields off the section roads get cut and turned in a single hot week. Bert's Grass Cutting works that same rhythm at a smaller scale — mowing yards, trimming around trees and posts, edging drives and walks. Grass grows fast in a Michigan summer, faster still after a thunderstorm rolls up from the southwest, and the answer is simply showing up on schedule. There's pride in a lawn that never gets away from you: an even cut, no scalped humps, no ragged fringe along the fence. Jackson County looks best in June, and a mowed yard is part of why.
